Our candles are handcrafted in small batches. Slight variations in appearance, texture, weight, size, colour, and shape are normal and are part of the character of each piece. We have made every effort to display the colours and images of our products as accurately as possible, but we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be accurate. We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction, and to limit the quantities of any products we offer.

5 · Candle Safety

By purchasing or using our candles, you agree to keep candles — whether lit or unlit — away from windy or drafty areas and away from flammable objects such as curtains, drapery, dried flowers, or plants. Furthermore, you agree to keep candles away from infants, small children, and animals, and to light candles only when the wick is trimmed and the candle is positioned in a stable, upright position. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Please follow the care instructions provided with each product.

6 · Orders, Billing and Pricing

We reserve the right to refuse any order and to limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed under the same account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing or shipping address. In the event that we change or cancel an order, we may notify you by email or by the contact information provided at the time the order was made. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information.

Prices are subject to change without notice. We may correct typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, and availability at any time without prior notice, including after you have submitted your order.

Because some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such jurisdictions our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. For EU/UK customers, mandatory provisions of your local consumer law remain unaffected.

15 · Disputes, Chargebacks and Resolution Process

We are committed to resolving any order-related concerns promptly and fairly. Customers must first contact us and allow our support team reasonable time (typically 3-7 business days) to review and respond to their inquiry before initiating any dispute or chargeback through their payment provider.

All issues regarding damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be submitted to us in writing within seven (7) days of delivery, accompanied by clear photo or video evidence, as outlined in our Returns & Refunds Policy. Once a claim is received, we will evaluate and, if eligible, provide a replacement, exchange, or refund in accordance with our store policies.

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute before this process is completed constitutes a violation of this policy and of the purchase agreement between the customer and Éveil Rosée. Chargebacks initiated during an active investigation may delay or void eligibility for refunds, replacements, or future claims. We reserve the right to suspend or restrict customer accounts that engage in premature chargebacks, fraudulent claims, or abuse of the dispute process.

16 · Order Errors, Promotional Offers and Technical Issues

Promotional offers, including free gifts, are provided on a promotional basis, while supplies last, and subject to availability at the time of order. Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, promotional offers are limited to one (1) free gift per order.

Where an order is affected by a technical error, system malfunction, pricing error, promotional error, or unintended website behaviour, we reserve the right, prior to dispatch, to correct, modify, or cancel the order in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. To correct such errors, we may remove excess promotional or free items, or cancel the affected order and issue a refund for paid items only. We are not obliged to fulfil promotions, discounts, or free items that result from obvious or verifiable errors. Free gifts and promotional items have no cash or monetary value and are not eligible for refunds, credits, or compensation if removed or corrected due to error.
