Eulalie Dubois grew up on the outskirts of Grasse, where her grandmother's family had tended aromatic plant gardens for generations. Every morning of her childhood, she followed her grandmother into the flower fields, learning to read herbs and blossoms through the dew. The fresh, luminous fragrance of natural plants left an indelible mark on her memory.

As an adult, Eulalie moved to Paris to study interior design, often traveling through the ancient estates of Europe. While studying spatial aesthetics, she came to understand that scent has always been an essential part of European home living — a fragrance in harmony with a space can complete its atmosphere and give it a soul of its own. Yet at the time, most home fragrances on the market leaned on heavy synthetic perfumes, thick and overpowering, missing the gentle depth of natural botanicals, and rarely able to blend with a refined, softly-lit interior.

Carrying the vision of reshaping natural fragrance, she returned to the countryside beyond Grasse and founded her artisanal studio, Éveil Rosée. True to the old traditions of the South of France, she favors flowers picked at dawn, while the morning dew still lingers — drawing out the untouched spirit of each plant. Turning away from the heavy, cloying scents that filled the market, she seeks to preserve nature's fleeting moments: a citrus orchard after rain, an evening breeze by the coast, moss in a forest glade, wild roses in full bloom — each landscape distilled into a scent.

In its early years, the studio devoted itself to small-batch, by-appointment hand-poured candles, serving a curated circle of private estates, independent galleries, boutique guesthouses, intimate art salons, cafés, and patisseries — never chasing scale, only craft. After years of quiet dedication, in 2018 the brand stepped beyond France, growing selectively across Europe to become a quietly distinctive French fragrance house. We hope to carry the softness of a southern French morning into every busy city, so that within the smallest corner of home, one may find a moment of peace.
